What we’re looking for
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Head of Government Sales to design, lead, and expand our sales organization and go-to-market activities across Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling the sales team, creating repeatable processes, and driving revenue growth with governments, institutions, and industry partners. This is a leadership role where you will directly shape our customer engagement, sales execution, and market expansion strategy, ensuring strong traction with European defense and security customers.
Aufgaben
The day-to-day
Command & Build the Force: Plan, build, and lead our government sales team and GTM organization across Europe
Dominate the Market: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy across core European defense markets
Deploy Scalable Operations: Establish and scale repeatable sales processes, KPIs, and performance metrics
Engage & Secure Targets: Identify, qualify, and close opportunities with government buyers and prime contractors
Align Strategic Command: Collaborate with Government Relations, Program Management, and Leadership to align sales with company priorities
Represent the Flag: Lead sales engagements, trade shows, and defense-related forums
Qualifikation
You should apply if you
Experience:3+ years of proven sales or business development experience, ideally in defense, aerospace, or dual-use tech
Leadership:Track record of building and leading successful sales organizations
Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of European defense procurement and institutional sales cycles
Network: Established access to European Ministries of Defense or prime contractors
Execution Mindset: Comfortable driving results in fast-paced, early-stage environments
Language: Native or fluent German required; strong English is a plus
Nice to haves
Startup Experience: Prior experience in a defense tech startup environment
Domain Expertise: Background in UAVs, robotic
