The Electrical Design Lead is responsible for ensuring the electrical scope of every project is technically sound, code-compliant, and ready for execution. This role provides scoping oversight, supports pre-sale technical review, and helps prepare every job for a smooth, high-quality install. The ideal candidate combines deep field knowledge with design aptitude and strong communication skills to bridge gaps between design, scoping, and delivery.ResponsibilitiesThe Electrical Design Lead will:Provide technical design and scoping support by reviewing complex project scopes to ensure feasibility and compliance, supporting project scoping escalations, and creating or advising on diagrams and layout recommendations in partnership with drafters and permit designersAct as the technical partner to sales by clarifying edge-case designs and customer constraints before proposal finalization, providing fast, high-confidence answers to questions on installation approach, and flagging risky or non-standard conditions early to prevent installation delaysProvide permitting and plan set guidance by reviewing permit plan sets for accuracy, providing field-informed feedback to improve diagram quality and jurisdictional alignment, and partnering with the Head Electrician and permitting team on AHJ-specific requirements or technical justificationsProvide support to installation teams by reviewing projects for completeness before handoff to installation operations and collaborating with install operatio
