We are looking for an experienced Software/ Python Backend Developer.
Tasks
You design and develop REST API interfaces for radar sensors and control units
As an owner of the backend architecture, you ensure high code quality through documentation
You are responsible for the implementation and integration of APIs within a microservices environment
You collaborate closely with UX experts and embedded engineers to ensure seamless integration of customer requirements
Requirements
Complete Studies in computer science or a comparable qualification
Several years of hands-on experience in software development, with strong proficiency in Python3, FastAPI, and Pytest
Experience with technologies such as Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Alembic migrations, and Ubuntu Linux; familiarity with REST APIs and basic UI concepts is a plus
In addition to REST, knowledge of messaging protocols such as MQTT is an advantage
Solid experience with containerization using Docker, including building optimized images and working with Docker Compose
Proficiency in version control systems (Git), SQL databases, web servers (e.g., NGINX), and configuration management tools
Strong understanding of quality assurance practices, including writing unit tests and contributing to integration testing
Commitment to clean, maintainable code, with experience using linters,
